About EVPS

 Founded by automotive and commercial fleet veterans, EVPS designs, sells and services hybrid and all-electric vehicle power systems.  Using our core, electric-power system technology we developed a plug-in hybrid-electric drive systems (PHEV) for retrofit installation in pick-up trucks, smaller delivery vans, shuttles buses, yard dogs, refuse trucks and other applications where the drive shaft is accessible.

Philosophy and Tenets

• Experienced Management:  We're experienced, energetic and enthusiastic.  The group has many years designing, building and selling electric vehicles -- 2 and 4-wheel models.
• Straight-forward Communication:  When forming EV Power Systems, all involved committed to build an organization that reflected our personal values -- open, honest, more democratic for employees, customers, shareholders and the public.  Straight answers and cut the baloney.
• 80:20 Rule:  EVPS systems designed to offer 80% of the benefits of fully optimized systems at 20% of the cost.  Our creativity is spent on integrating existing technologies in more effective ways.  Keep it simple...and affordable.
• Capital Required:  We've taken a new approach.  Spending vast sums of capital is easy in the auto business.  Not spending enough spells doom.  Too many electric-vehicle companies spent far too much capital for the output.  We earned these gray hairs and are applying all of the lessons we've learned.
• Helping the Environment:  The world has a problem with emissions.  Global warming is real.  The EVPS approach reduces per vehicle emissions dramatically.    

 

EVPS has developed, tested and is currently taking orders for our commercial retrofit plug-in hybrid-electric drive system.
