Solving Fuel Cost/Emissions Problems

Fleet managers are faced with a dual problem -- increasing fuel cost and need to reduce emissions.  Plus, budgets are constrained, which limits buying new vehicles.

Our Solution

EVPS has taken proven components, applied in an innovative way, to create an electric-drive system powerful enough to move trucks.  This technology can be applied to develop both all-electric and hybrid vehicles.  Products Fleet Manager's Guide

Using this technology, EVPS has developed, tested and is taking orders for a commercial retrofit plug-in hybrid-electric drive system designed for trucks.  EVPS retrofits (converts) existing trucks with an affordable, effective, technology-neutral plug-in hybrid-electric drive system that does not require changes to the internal-combustion engine, transmission, vehicle support systems or emissions equipment.

EVPS, Clemson, 11 Cities Proposal to DOE

EVPS joined Clemson University and 11 cities in 5 states -- New York, New Jersey, South Carolina, Florida and California -- in submitting proposal to US Department of Energy.  Proposal would help fund converting 140 trucks -- pick-ups, shuttle buses and refuse trucks -- to hybrid-electric using EVPS patented system.  (For more info, contact EVPS)
